ALOO MATAR KA PARATHA

INGREDIENTS
For the dough
2cups whole wheat flour
Salt to taste
2 tbsp carom seeds
Water as required                                                                                                                                               
For the stuffing
1 cup boiled and mashed green peas
2 boiled and mashed potatoes
½ cup chopped onions
1 tbsp chopped garlic
½ tbsp chopped green chillies
2 tbsp chopped coriander
½ tbsp chilli powder
Salt to taste
½ tbsp coriander- cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
½ tbsp chaat masala
2 tbsp oil
Ghee for cooking parathas
Method
·         Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add the garlic and sauté till it turns golden brown.
·         Add the onions and green chillies and sauté for 2 minutes.
·         Add the chilli powder, coriander-cumin seeds powder and salt and saute for ½ minutes.
·         Add the potatoes, green peas and chaat masala and saute for ½  minutes.
·         Add the coriander and remove form the flame.
·         Cool the stuffing masala at room temperature. Keep aside
For the dough
·         Combine the wheat flour, carom seeds, salt in a bowl.
·         Add enough water and knead into a soft dough.
·         Keep aside for 5 minutes
·         Divide the dough in 8 equal portions and keep aside.
How to proceed
1.       Roll each portion of the dough into 5 diameter rounds and then put stuffing in it make then put all the edges together and then roll it again into a 7 paratha.
2.       Heat a non-stick tava and cook the paratha on it with some ghee
3.       Cook from both sides and serve with tomato chutney.
For making tomato chutney
v  Boil tomatoes than remove the skin and samash the tomato and put green chilli and salt and serve it.
