INGREDIENTS
For the dough
2cups whole wheat flour
Salt to taste
2 tbsp carom seeds
Water as required
For the stuffing
1 cup boiled and mashed green peas
2 boiled and mashed potatoes
½ cup chopped onions
1 tbsp chopped garlic
½ tbsp chopped green chillies
2 tbsp chopped coriander
½ tbsp chilli powder
Salt to taste
½ tbsp coriander- cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
½ tbsp chaat masala
2 tbsp oil
Ghee for cooking parathas
Method
·
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add the
garlic and sauté till it turns golden brown.
·
Add the onions and green chillies and sauté for
2 minutes.
·
Add the chilli powder, coriander-cumin seeds
powder and salt and saute for ½ minutes.
·
Add the potatoes, green peas and chaat masala
and saute for ½ minutes.
·
Add the coriander and remove form the flame.
·
Cool the stuffing masala at room temperature. Keep
aside
For the dough
·
Combine the wheat flour, carom seeds, salt in a
bowl.
·
Add enough water and knead into a soft dough.
·
Keep aside for 5 minutes
·
Divide the dough in 8 equal portions and keep
aside.
How to proceed
1.
Roll each portion of the dough into 5 diameter
rounds and then put stuffing in it make then put all the edges together and
then roll it again into a 7 paratha.
2.
Heat a non-stick tava and cook the paratha on it
with some ghee
3.
Cook from both sides and serve with tomato
chutney.
For making tomato chutney

Boil tomatoes than remove the skin and samash
the tomato and put green chilli and salt and serve it.
